Foreign companies, interested in BVB listing

R.O. Future Group is already listed on the Tel Aviv stock market, as of November, 2006. Future Group is interested in the conditions for the BVB listing, but is also taking into consideration the market conditions, local brokers said.

The company is operating in Romania since 1991 and has made investments in several real estate projects.

Its planned listing was announced after that of Erste Bank, the owner of the largest local lender, Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR). Other foreign companies are also considering having their shares traded on the local stock market.

"There are companies listed abroad, that have business in Romania, but that are not Romanian, but they want to be listed here. Such an operation provides an extraordinary platform, as far as marketing is concerned," said Gabriela Ontica, Capital Markets Development Manager within Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen business advisory company.
