Forte Business Services doubles turnover

"The share of IT services has reached one third of the company's sales this year," according to Forte Business Services's General Manager, Bogdan Radu Constantinescu.

He added that the company's main goal for 2008 is to increase the share of IT professional services, up to 50 percent, in terms of turnover.

In fiscal year 2006, the company posted €24 mln in business, lower compared to 2005, due to a lack of investments in the public sector.

The subsidiary, formerly named Forte Company, was taken over in 2005 by Siemens through its division, Siemens Business Services (SBS) Austria, and merged with SBS's Romanian subsidiary. The company has nine offices in Bucharest and other major cities. Forte Business Services has two technical support centers, of which one is dedicated to clients worldwide, and another to clients in neighboring countries.
