Funds blocked in Transgaz return to the market

Funds blocked in subscriptions ten times higher than the offer of some €65 million could return to the market, but not necessarily to Transgaz allocation rights. “This will be the last transaction week of the year, and the usual optimism of this period is further stimulated by the fact that the correction was not as high as expected in terms of increases of the past weeks,” said Adrian Caramiha, Deputy General Manager of SSIF Broker Cluj.

“The good news for all Transgaz investors is that they will get their money much sooner. In the course of next week, we will return all money for unallocated shares, even though we registered the largest number of subscriptions in history,” according to Dana Mirela Ionescu, General Manager of Raiffeisen Capital&Investment (RCI), which handled the Transgaz IPO.
