Gerom restarts bottling production following €50 mln investment

“We are finalizing negotiations with equipment suppliers and hope to start construction in two months. The worst case scenario is that we begin construction this summer,” the company’s General Manager, Vsevolod Barbaneagra, told Business Standard.

The new unit will have a monthly production capacity of 12-14 million bottles, on land owned by Gerom, close to its other production units.

Gerom has already concluded several preliminary contracts with beverage producers, Barbaneagra said.

The company is listed on the electronic Rasdaq market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). Its major shareholder is a Bucharest-based company, Hystria Expert, with 68.3 percent of the stock.
