“We are expecting more than a doubling of our turnover, to over $6 million. Investments are connected to sales&marketing team, and we have investments exceeding our turnover, something that is due to continue in the following years. We expect to reach breakeven in 2010,” Glenmark Country Manager, Mariana Wencz, said.
The company currently has four products launched on the local market - one antibiotic and three cardiovascular products. By 2010, it plans to sell 10-11 products in Romania.
Glenmark’s main competitors locally are other generic drug producers Sandoz, Zentiva, and Ranbaxy.
