The decision was part of a wider plan of General Motors Europe, to support Kroymans Corporation, official importer to the European market of the three American brands, and assuming responsibility for their sales, marketing, distribution, post-sale services, and public relations services in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria, according to GM Central and Eastern Europe Director of Communications, Marc Kempe.

To date the three brands were distributed in Romania by Radacini Motors, former dealer for the Daewoo brand, and general importer of Subaru.

Sales of the three brands last year were considered modest, with only 15 Cadillacs sold.
