The company posted €23.35 million in turnover in 2007, according to information published on the Ministry of Public Finance website. Radoi indicated that this increase was due to the gaining of new clients, the development of the business of existing clients, as well as the positive evolution of the market. Moreover, he explained that BBDO Group Romania, which includes Graffiti BBDO, the Media Direction agency, the Proximity direct marketing agency, and the Pleon Graffiti public relations agency, posted a 15-20 percent rise in turnover in 2008, considering that the group’s turnover was worth €69 mln in 2007.

Regarding 2009, Radoi estimates a rise in the local advertising market of up to 10 percent and an increase of the Graffiti BBDO business over the market’s growth.

“The year 2008 was seen as an extraordinarily good year, with high market growth. Forecasts were met in the first half of the year, but results were below expectations in the second half. I believe we will have economic growth in 2009, but it will be very low,” Radoi added.
