GTM, one of the top three construction companies in Spain, is entering the Romanian market where it plans to invest €120 million in the coming three years.
Their first project is a business center in Galati, worth €6.3 million.
“The Spanish group also intends to eventually develop residential projects in Romania,” company officials told Business Standard yesterday.
GTM will open its sixth office next week in Bucharest, which will join offices in London, Lisbon, Stockholm,
Tangier and Andorra.
The company specializes in buildings with top technological elements. For the project in Galati, the Spanish have signed a cooperation contract with the local Brico Group, which is involved in civil, industrial and commercial construction, industrial equipment, aluminum and PVC carpentry, and sports constructions.
Following the opening of the Romanian office, the company plans to open branches in Morocco and
