The operator plans to increase its clients portfolio to 1,600 companies, some 30 percent higher than 2007. GTS Telecom Romania estimates turnover of €19 mln in 2008, 18 percent higher year-on-year.

“Our strategic objective is to continue the upward trend registered in previous years, in terms of both turnover and company efficiency. We will continue to focus on supplying personalized communication solutions for multinational and large companies,” said Mihaiescu.

GTS Telecom Romania plans to expand to Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova, where it already supplies services to other operators. The company is part of GTS Central Europe, which operates the largest telecommunications services in the region, with a total length of some 60,000 kilometers.
