Half of Romanian managers dissatisfied with their jobs
“Some 80 percent of managers interested in changes are not willing to quit their job for financial reasons, but for totally different reasons, such as business, top management and personal development,” the company’s Managing Partner, Alina Botezatu, told Business Standard.

Not being allowed to take part in strategic decision-making, express opinions or not being given “a free hand” in their activities are the main complaints of managers, Botezatu said. Other reasons include companies lacking strategy and coherent long-term vision, minimal investments in technology, a lack of resources to meet goals, and a lack of career development plans.

The highest degree of discontent was registered in the construction sector, where some 70 percent of managers plan to change jobs. Some 60 percent of sales managers and financial sector managers are also dissatisfied with their current jobs.
