Hardware market to surpass 1 million units

The estimated value of the 2008 market is €537 million, compared to €467 million in 2007.

Besides the steady growth of the market, two factors will impact on the evolution of sales, said the President of APDETIC, Valentin Negoita. One of them is access to EU structural funds, which will allow companies to buy IT equipment based on EU financing projects. The other is an expected re-launch of projects for public administration IT endowment this year, Negoita said.
