Harley-Davidson to roll into Romanian market this month

Motorcycle maker and retailer Harley-Davidson will officially enter the Romanian market this month and will have its first showroom by the end of 2007 in Bucharest, according to a company release.

Harley-Davidson Bucharest will sell motorcycles and accessories as well as offer specialized assistance services.

The first showroom will open in downtown Bucharest by the end of this year following an investment by Automotive Trading Services (ATS), also a Citroen dealer. The company intends to open another showroom next year.

Harley-Davidson Motor Company was set up in 1903, and produces high capacity motorcycles along with a complete line of accessories and clothing.
