The first documentaries will be shown on HBO by the end of the year. These are directed by Alexandru Solomon and Tudor Giurgiu. Harabagiu says there are local budgets for this kind of production.
“HBO is renowned for its controversial original productions. We think it is time that HBO begin producing in Romania,” says Harabagiu. Although the budget is confidential, Harabagiu says a significant portion goes to the programming department.
