“The first quarter of the year brought a 23 percent increase in sales compared to the same period last year, due to the fact that there are no more ceilings, and patients were able to acquire medication according to their needs. We ended 2008 with a more modest profit – a margin below 1 percent – and at the end of the first quarter of the year we were in line in terms of profitability. In an economy in crisis any gain is a clear realization,” said Isabelle Iacob, General Manager of HelpNet for Business Standard.
