In the first half of the year, the Romanian subsidiary was leader in terms of growth, with a 40 percent rise over the same period last year.
However, three months later, Bulgaria ranks top in terms of concrete sales, followed by Romania and the Czech Republic.
Holcim also registered higher sales in finished products in Southeastern Europe, with Romania and Croatia as growth engines. The sale of aggregates was up especially in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria.
Delivery prices rose by an average 10.2 percent within the group in the first nine months, according to a financial report made public by Holcim.
In Europe, Holcim's net sales rose 23.3 percent, up to €4.66 billion, while operating profits increased 25.3 percent, to €1.09 billion.
