Hotel operator Radisson to open the biggest luxury hotel in Eastern Europe in Bucharest this spring

It will be located downtown Bucharest on Calea Victoriei and will include 424 rooms, four restaurants, three bars, a conference center of 1,500 square meters, a 2,600 square-meter wellness center, the largest outdoor jacuzzi in Europe, the biggest casino in the country, as well as luxury stores.

The hotel targets business men, groups and tourists who come to Bucharest. The first bookings were already made, there are some demands for rooms and different events for 2011, said the company's representatives.

Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts is listed at the Stockholm stock exchange and is one of the top five hotel companies worldwide. It posted 200 million euros revenues and 15 million euros net profit for the financial year which ended on September 30, 2007.

Rezidor also owns hotel chains Park Inn, Country Inn, Regent and Missoni.
