The role of the HR department has increased significantly in the past few years, leading to the advance in salaries. According to the Paywell 2007 study carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania, the wage of an HR specialist increased 19 percent in 2006-2007.
Laura Chilom, HR consultant at the e-jobs website, says that HR specialists rank fifth in a list of most wanted jobs.
