“In Romania, major acquisitions are in the hardware and infrastructure segments. Also, there is an increasing ratio of private sector acquisitions of servers and memory devices,” added Ciucu.
IBM launched the new generation Power Systems servers, with up to 4 TB memory. According to Ciucu, IBM is market leader for servers, with a market share exceeding 30 percent.
“We are especially interested in data centers, regardless of client size. This is also our strategy for accessing the Romanian market,” said Ciucu.
