IKEA targets net sales worth €100 mln in its 3rd year of Romanian operations

The company plans to expand in Romania, especially in retail parks, but does not rule out independent locations. Oprisan said the Bucharest market has room for a second IKEA store, but that two units are sufficient.

The Swedish furniture producer launched its first store in Romania in March 2007, in northern Bucharest. The company foresees a 15 percent increase in Romania’s furniture market. (NewsIn)
