Imofinance, through its Imoinvest real estate development division, has six projects in stand-by, waiting to be authorized, which will start in 2009, depending on the evolution of the market.
The group is also considering new property acquisitions in the coming year, mainly projects whose owners have liquidity-related problems. In 2008, Imoinvest finalized work on two real estate projects, located in Sibiu and Cluj. The company official is expecting investments worth some €5 million in 2009, similar to the 2008 level.
