Impact’s value decreased by almost 80 percent this year and by 20 percent in the past two days.
Brokers explained the dramatic decrease by a possible sale of shares owned by investment bank Lehman Brothers in the company, due to financial problems on the U.S. market. Still, Impact management says Lehman did not sell the shares.
Popp owns 27.9 percent of Impact, while Carmen Sandulescu owns 11.3 percent. The value of shares owned by Popp decreased by €61.9 million this year, while Sandulescu lost €25 million.
