IMS Health aşteaptă o creştere cu 50% a businessului în 2009

IMS Health, global leader in consulting and pharmaceutical statistics, posted a 50 percent increase in business in Romania in 2008 and expects a similar growth this year, following a massive investment program and the increase in services offer.
In previous years, the business growth of IMS Health in Romania was relatively low.
The main driver of last year's increase was a service monitoring medicine exits from pharmacies, translating in final medicine consumption, which led to an increase in the number of clients. The investment in this service amounted to millions of euros.
Furthermore, the company launched a wide training offer for local pharma companies.
The main players on the local market that provide statistics for pharma companies are IMS Health and Cegedim. There are more players on the pharma consulting segment.
