InBev Romania sees nine-month sales up 20%, amongst the largest in Eastern Europe

Total nine-month sales in Central and Eastern Europe went up almost 15 percent against last year. In May this year Interbrew Romania merged with Interbrew Efes Brewery and changed its name into InBev Romania.

The company produces beer brands Stella Artois, Beck’s, Bergenbier, Lowenbrau and Noroc. The company imports Belgian beers Leffe and Hoegaarden.

InBev Romania is the third player in Romania’s beer industry, with a 22 percent market share at the end of 2006. Last year was the company’s best regarding sales.
