Indian outsourcing companies move to Romania

WNS Global Services recently entered the local Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) market, with a support center for EU clients. “As location, Bucharest provides an excellent mix of language skills and talent, which is an advantage for clients operating in the European Union,” said WNS’s Managing Director for Europe, Eric Selvadurai.

The WNS center in Bucharest will employ 150 people, providing outsourcing services in French, German, Italian and Spanish.

“The entry of the Indians is a good sign for the outsourcing market, because it places Romania in a positive international light leading to significant growth of this business,” said Vladimir Sterescu, Country Manager of U.S. company CGS, one of the most important players on the local market.
