Industrial orders up in May

Statistics are compiled on the industrial segments and for industrial groups (types of produced goods regardless of industrial segment). The annual increase was sustained by all major industrial groups. For intermediary goods the increase was 21.6 percent, while current use goods registered an advance of 18.1 percent, and the long-term use goods segment rose 15.1 percent.
The monthly advance was based on the 8.6 percent increase of long-term orders, and the 7.8 percent increase on the current use segment. New orders for the intermediary goods segment dropped 2.8 percent.
