The big industrial branches posted increases as follows: the capital goods industry (+32.5 percent), the intermediary goods industry (+2.3 percent), the current goods industry (+1.4 percent). The durable goods industry decreased 5 percent as well as the power industry (-5.5 percent).
The industrial output rose 3.2 percent year-on-year in September 2007 supported by the increase of the processing industry (+3.7 percent) and the extractive industry (+0.1 percent). Power industry dropped 0.7 percent over the same period.
The current goods industry hiked 8 percent in September 2007 versus September 2006, the capital goods industry rose 3.6 percent, the power industry climbed 2.3 percent and the intermediary goods industry increased 1 percent. The durable goods industry tumbled 7.1 percent.
Revenues in industry rose 12.2 percent in the first nine months from the same period last year, sustained by the increase of the processing industry (+14.9 percent). Power industry dropped 3.1 percent.
New orders in industry per total (internal and external market) rose in September in nominal terms 7 percent versus August and 9.2 percent from September 2006. In the first nine months new orders in industry rose 21.1 percent.
