ING pension fund clients, best earners

ING Fond de Pensii has the best-paid clients on the mandatory private pensions market, with an average monthly income worth €467.

The ING fund is followed by pension funds which secured subscribers through banks, according to data from the National House of Pensions and other Social Insurance Rights (CNPAS).

Employees aged 16 to 35 were obliged to subscribe to a mandatory pension fund (Pillar II of the local pension system), while subscription is optional for employees aged 36 to 45.

Currently, 14 pension funds are operating on this market, with average income of Pillar II subscribers €414 per month. The average monthly subscription to pension funds amounts to €9.01.

AIG Fond de Pensii ranks second in terms of subscriber income, with €460 per month, followed by pension funds established by lenders Bancpost, Banca Romana de Dezvoltare - Societe Generale (BRD-SocGen), Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), and OTP. (NewsIn)
