The company posted close to €300,000 in profit. The funds will be used to cover last year’s losses, which totaled €21 million.
Astra-Uniqa plans to control damages in car insurance Casco segment by introducing more filters, such as new taxes and contract renewal. The company opened a damage establishment office, aimed to analyze some 7,000 files in Bucharest. General Manager Daniel Musteata said this is a pilot project and that Astra could open more centers in Romania next year.
