The trust intends to close down News FM, while Romantic FM will broadcast only in Bucharest. All changes are to be implemented following approval from the National Audio-Visual Council (CNAV) at the end of September.
“News FM was broadcasting only in Bucharest and expanding the format nationwide would have been too expensive,” said Oancea. Romantic FM has a good audience in Bucharest, but is not performing well in other cities.
