iPhone, 62 times more expensive in Romania than in Hungary

Depending on the subscription, the iPhone price varies between €179 and €489 in Romania.

T-Mobile Hungary, a subsidiary of German telecom operator Deutsche Telecom, launched the iPhone on August 22. The low prices for iPhone in Hungary is part of T-Mobile’s sales strategy. In Germany, iPhone can be purchased for €1 with a T-Mobile subscription.
