Environmental Energy Resources Ltd (EER), a division of the Shrem Fudim Klener Co. Ltd investment company, has announced it has signed a contract with a Romanian company to construct the country’s first plasma gasification melting factory, according to an announcement by The Jerusalem Post.
The cost of this project is estimated at $30 million.
EER uses gases at temperatures of 1,400-7,000 degrees Celsius in a process known as plasma gasification melting (PGM) to melt municipal, household, medical and low-grade radioactive waste.
