IT&S targeting 50% increase in net sales in 2008

IT&S, Romanian importer and distributor of IT products, estimates that net sales will amount to €35 million in 2008, 50 percent more year-on-year.

"Considering previsions for 2008, namely that the hardware, software, and ancillary products market will surpass €1.3 billion, we are revising upwards estimates for growth we published two years ago, to over €35 million in turnover," said Dana Iorga, Chief Operating Officer, IT&S.

According to the COO, IT products made up 60 percent of total net sales in 2007, with bestsellers laptops, up 200 percent year-on-year.

As of this year, the company has included Fujitsu Siemens Computers products in its portfolio. On the Romanian IT market, Fujitsu Siemens Computers has a 10.3 percent market share for notebooks and desktops.
