Italian transportation company Fratelli Codognotto di Codognotto is interested in listing on the Sibiu Monetary-Financial and Commodities Exchange (BMFMS), after the latter is authorized as spot market operator, according to BMFMS President, Teodor Ancuta.
BMFMS is to file an application for spot market authorization with the National Securities Commission (CNVM) by early June.
“Representatives of Fratelli Codognotto, one of the top transportation companies in Italy, have requested information on the share market inauguration of our bourse, and the company is one of the ten we are betting on to open this market,” Ancuta told Business Standard. The Italian company is one of BMFMS’ main shareholders, with a 4.97 percent package.
