“According to our estimates, the multifunctional laser equipment market increased by over 9 percent for black and white and 50 percent for color,” said Helmut Ignat, General Manager of Konica Minolta.
The company is forecasting a rise in turnover of 10-15 percent in 2008. Multifunctional inkjet equipment still dominates the Romanian market, followed by monochrome laser and color laser equipment.
“An increasing number of companies have understood the importance of color in the production of documents, which has led to a rise for this type of equipment. Growth is significant and we estimate it will exceed 60 percent by the end of the year, compared to 2007,” added Ignat.
