Private equity companies opt first for Romania in terms of intent to invest in Central and Eastern Europe, while Poland ranks second. “It is normal that large companies will enter the market. They are driven by good yields, because there are not many global transactions left,” said Ioana Filipescu, Marketing Manager of Raiffeisen Investment Romania.
According to the research, the most important factor for a transaction’s success is local expertise. A good management team and experience in making strategic decisions are also important.
