Pambuccian took over CCT for RON 50,000 (€13,740), the value of the company’s share capital. “The deal is similar to "trust" operations within Anglo-Saxon legislation, which means that when I leave Microsoft, I will take back the shares,” Tatomir said. He added that he gave away his company to avoid any conflict of interest.
Pambuccian said he would pay for the shares gradually, as he receives dividends. CCT’s management has also changed, with former consultant Mihai Petrov taking over as General Manager. “We will focus on company consolidation on the market, but will also develop other business lines,” said Petrov.
Furthermore, the company will cease direct collaboration with Microsoft. To date deals signed by CCT with the software producer’s local branch amounted to €20,000. The company also has advisory contracts with IT companies IBM, Oracle, SAP, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Allied Telesyn, Romtelecom, and Ericsson. According to company representatives, these deals yield some 5-6 percent of the company’s turnover.
Cabinetul Calin Tatomir posted business worth €1.22 million last year. For 2008, company officials expect at least 50 percent growth in business. “Sales in the first seven months of 2008 were equal to last year’s sales, while profits were four times higher,” Tatomir added.
