The National Bank of Romania (BNR) will continue to take all necessary measures so that Romania can join the Eurozone in 2014, when by law it will be able to enter the foreign currency market and increase the key interest rate and mandatory minimum reserves, said Valentin Lazea, Chief Economist of BNR.
The government and the National Bank set the schedule to join the Eurozone two years ago, with a 2014 target, giving the government and BNR time to take all the measures. (NewsIn)
