Leasing interest could increase

"The estimates made earlier this year [of 8.5 percent interest for euro] became a reality since the first quarter and, moreover, the 9 percent threshold will be exceeded shortly, as an average of the leasing market," according to the General Manager of Unicredit Leasing, Septimiu Postelnicu.

He added leasing companies will become more careful is approving and carrying out leasing deals.

The General Manager of Raiffeisen Leasing, Mihaela Mateescu, said interests are increasing this year, as opposed to constant decline in interests in recent years.
