The broker studied the level of interest rates and fees valid in May, but did not take into account fees for notaries, valuation and registration in the electronic database, insurances and fees for opening an account and for cash withdrawal, the company said. “For banks granting both real estate loans and mortgages, we chose the best offer between the two. However, most lenders have the same conditions for real estate loans and mortgages,” a Credit Zone release said.
Alpha Bank and Bancpost have launched “summer offers” with lower interest rates and fees.
Last month, Credit Zone sent 23.7 percent of its clients to Banca Romaneasca for mortgages, because the bank processes applications faster than other banks. A further 16 percent of brokered loans were through Alpha Bank and 11 percent through Bancpost. Credit Zone works with 16 Romanian banks.
