The agency gained important clients early this year, such as Petrom and Elite. Leo Burnett is partner with Israeli Elite in all Balkan countries and will manage the communication strategy and image campaigns for several Elite Romania brands. Roxana Dumitru, Managing Director Leo Burnett, said it is too early to estimate the value of the account.

“Orange is a very interesting brand for any creative agency in Romania. Every brief, even that for promotion, comes with something interesting that has to be communicated in a relevant manner using Orange language, which is very different than that of the company’s main competitors,” says Roxana Dumitru.

Leo Burnett lost the Beck’s and Prigat accounts in 2007. The agency has 113 employees working for clients such as Allianz Tiriac Insurance, IT and electronics retailer Altex, Catavencu press trust, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Romania, the Grigore Antipa Natural History Museum, Procter&Gamble and Samsung Electronics.

The main competitor of Leo Burnett in Romania is McCann group.
