LG Romania hoping for 35% increase in 2008

LG Romania, representative of one of the main international producers of electronics and household appliance producers, posted turnover worth €104 million last year, and is budgeting an advance of 35 percent in 2008, with the target set at €140 mln, according to a company announcement.

The aggregated market share was 13 percent in 2007. LG’s market share for LCD televisions to 21 percent in the first quarter of 2008, compared to 16 percent in 2007, while growth for plasma TVs increased to 39 percent in Q1 2008 from 31 percent last year.
