Linklaters, one of the world’s largest law firms, and member of the so-called Magic Circle, which includes the five most important London law firms, will focus on markets with greater growth potential than Romania, such as Russia, Poland, the Ukraine, Turkey or Kazakhstan, according to Nick Eastwell, Linklater’s Partner for Capital Markets, and the man who will coordinate attempts to seize new markets. It is for this reason that the law firm has decided to close its offices in Bucharest, Budapest, Bratislava and Prague as of 1 November, in a move which is not expected to affect the Romanian legal market.
