Listed company liquidity equals market value

Local listed banks, Banca Transilvania (BT) and Banca Romana de Dezvoltare-Groupe Societe Generale (BRD-SocGen), and companies such as Impact developer, Zentiva pharmaceutical producer, Azomures chemical plant and Prodplast plastics processor have liquidities at least equal to their value on the stock market according to analysts of Prime Transaction broker. Data on liquidity is available based on funds available in bank accounts at the end of the first half of the year or the end of September, in the case of financial investment companies (SIF).

“When profits and sales are not secure and non-liquid assets are volatile, all that is left to do is to focus on liquidities. This is a basic reference point that can still be considered,” Prime Transaction analyst Paul Brendea said.
