Dozens of million euros will be needed for the roads rehabilitation. Furthermore, the government allocated from the state budget some €11,420 for each house destroyed by floods.
According to the Minister for Public Works, Laszlo Borbely, the funds to rebuild the houses will be supplemented, as more than 700 houses were destroyed by floods.
UMB Spedition, PA & Co and Euro Construct also repaired the roads destroyed by floods in 2005. Businessmand Dorinel Umbrarescu, who controls Spedition UMB's confirmed that his company could participate in road repair works. Businesspeople Horia Simu and Costel Casuneanu, who control CCCF Bucharest and PA&Co confirmed their interest in the project.
