Low-cost airline easyJet introduces new flights from Bucharest to London, Madrid

Jets will fly each day for UK and four times a week for Spain from the country's main airport near Bucharest, Henri Coanda. Prices start at 73.81 euros for a round trip to London and 55.98 euros to Madrid, all taxes included.

The company released in September its first flights from Bucharest to Milan, estimating more than 200,000 passengers in the first year and 6 percent of the low-cost market in Bucharest. “We plan to expand in the future and make of Romania a key market for easyJet,” company representatives said.

The company was founded in 1995 and owns 17 operational bases posting a 15-20 percent annual profit increase. easyJet's fleet consists of 137 aircrafts covering 338 routes between 87 airports in 23 countries.
