Lugera&Makler: We have over 400 vacancies

“At present, we have 128 vacancies on recruitment, and 300 jobs on personnel leasing,” Cristina Savuica, Managing Partner of Lugera&Makler, told Business Standard.

According to Savuica, the number of vacancies fell significantly at the beginning of 2009, compared to the same period in 2008. “Last year, we had a monthly average of 500 vacancies on the recruitment segment alone, while this year, the figure does not exceed 150,” she said.

In the current context, when most companies no longer plan to hire people, recruiting companies receive a large number of applications, mostly from the sales, real estate, and auto fields.

The local subsidiary of the Dutch Lugera&Makler, the second-largest player on the local personnel selection and placement market, posted €18.15 million in turnover in 2008, up almost 50 percent year-on-year. In 2009, Lugera&Makler Romania will continue its regional expansion plans and the launch of new services. The company’s main competitors on the local market are Adecco, Manpower, AIMS, and Professional.
