“We estimate that profit will reach $10 mln [€6.4 mln] this year,” said the President of LukOil Romania, Constantin Tampiza.
The company plans to increase its market share from 25 percent to 30-33 percent. To date, LukOil has invested €450 mln in Romania. Tampiza admitted that the Romanian branch’s contribution was insignificant to the group’s profit, which doubled in Q1 2008, to €2 billion.
