Most affected sectors locally are the boat, auto, and real estate segments, while the jewelry field has registered a rise in demand. “Quality has surged on this segment. Jewelry companies are hoping that people will invest in gold, diamonds, things whose value does not decrease over time,” said Camelia Buda, planner of the event.
Vendome Fine Jewellery, Radisson SAS, Mobex, Adorama, and Vertu are some of the companies that will take part in the Luxury Show. During this event, Auto Italia will launch the Maserati Quattroporte in Romania, worth €142,000.
The event’s 2007 edition included, among others, a necklace worth €1.48 million, mahogany motor boats, and a golden Volkswagen Beetle. The total value of exhibited objects amounted to €60 mln, and sales exceeded 13 mln.
