Management changes at top Romanian wine producers

Grecu replaces Laurentiu Anghel, who resigned at the beginning of the year. Anghel gave up his position with Cotnari for a similar post with Casa de Vinuri Iasi, a Romanian capital company, which has come onto the market recently. Contacted by Business Standard, Grecu declared that he will not change the company’s 2008 marketing strategy, which will continue along the lines drawn up by Anghel.

“We will work on next year’s marketing strategy. For the time being, I will become involved in the brand development policy and the diversification of the range of products,” added Grecu.

Laurentiu Anghel said that there will be changes in the fall. “I will be Marketing Manager at Casa de Vinuri Iasi, but will also have commercial responsibilities. This fall, we will launch two new types of wines on the internal market,” added Anghel.
