Managers estimate a 3.8% drop in the number of industry employees in 2008

The industrial workforce real unit cost could slide 3.2 percent in 2008 compared to the previous year, due to salary increases in spite of low productivity, according to CNP. In this year’s first nine months, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) announced 8.4 percent growth in industrial labor productivity.
